Hyland Hub was founded by Megan Ryan, a former public high school teacher, and a long-time curriculum designer who is nationally certified in Family and Consumer Sciences (CFCS). She holds a BS Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Delaware and an MSc Management in International Business from Grenoble Ecole de Management.
Megan’s training in best practices for ADHD began shortly after her then 5-year-old child was diagnosed. Seeking solutions, she participated in a one-year parenting program at Boston Children’s Hospital (led by psychologist Dr. Elisa Bronfman) which focused on: Collaborative Problem Solving, Positive Behavioral Systems, Social Skills Building, and Executive Functioning. Megan then furthered her parenting education with Think: Kids Tier 1 training through the Department of Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital. She then completed Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS) training with Dr. Ross Greene, author, and former Harvard psychiatrist.
Since 2015, Megan has worked with parents, educators, and coaches of individuals with ADHD to improve outcomes. She specializes in facilitating connections, providing education and training, advocating in the schools, and providing support and encouragement to parents and teachers alike.
